Hello fellow VW enthusiasts!
I would like to thank you for participating with the VW Cruisers Volkswagen Club. I have been a member of the VW Cruisers for many years and was previously elected as club Vice President in 2014. I have been an enthusiast of Volkswagens since I was 10 years old when my grandfather gave my brother a 1968 Beetle and myself a 1974 Beetle. I have had the opportunity to build several Volkswagens ranging from, my first: a 1974 Beetle, to my current build: a 1965 Type 3 Notchback. I am a lover of all VWs but find a special place in my heart for the Cal-look VW. I am always excited when I see a group of VWs arrive at a show or cruise-in! I am excited to have a chance to share my enthusiasm of these cars with you and other VW owners.
Joining the VW Cruisers makes you a part of a group of friends and enthusiasts who enjoy vintage Volkswagens and like to be around others who also share that level of enthusiasm.
Our club has many things of which to be proud. Our uniqueness stems from a diverse selection of VWs and their drivers to our custom handmade trophies for our VW Show. We have elected a great group of officers who have graciously accepted these positions and continue to show dedication to making our club work. The officers however are just part of what makes this club function. All our members are the reason this club exists. The participation by members at club events through the year is truly what makes this club succeed. As the VW Cruisers continue to grow, we look forward to your thoughts, ideas, and feedback to help us make this club a second home for Volkswagen enthusiasts alike.
The VW Cruisers are excited to see what 2015 has in store.
